Cure to Sadness :)
I've been completley out of sorts for awhile and I need a way to brighten my day. I was so bad I was tripping over everything and embarrassing myself in front of everyone So I decided I'll wear bright socks and dance around the house and listen to happy songs. And when I say bright socks I mean rainbow-up-to-the-knee socks and when I say happy music I mean Lollipop by Cartoon in Motion, Daylight by Grand and Happy by Never Shout Never. These songs and bright socks are the best therapy in the world! Try it sometime :)

The Working Life :P
So today I worked for my mom at the elevator in town. Let's get something clear, this is NOT an elevator in a hotel that takes you up floors and little kids race to press the buttons type of elevator. This is a grain elevator. (Just for all you city folk!)
If I ever see another number again I might scream! So if I scream in math class, don't judge me. I didn't do this voluntarily, I got paid. One of the only perks about this whole shebang. If anyone is interested I could probably train someone to work at an elevator from all the information that was forced into my tiny head. Any takers? I thought not. :)

Just Another Day of Summer...
Oh how I love summer! Today we decided we have had enough of the dogs getting all muddy and wet from sources unknown so we bought them a little wading pool. Not the blow-up kind because that thing would pop on the first day! It was a hard plastic one. We figured they would have a blast splashing around in it on hot days. Well when we brought it home the dogs looked at it like "What is that thing doing in our yard?". So I tried persuading the dogs to come in. I even went in to try to get them to come in! I called their names but all they would do was drink from the side. Not quite what we bought it for....So I decided if I could get Jessie (the older dog and the "adopted mom" of the two puppies) in I would be able to get the puppies in. I threw her toy in the middle of the pool and she stuck her head under the water on the side! Well thats going to get you nowhere. So I shook it around a little and eventually Jessie figured out she had to go into the pool to get it. The puppies just watched. Well! Then later on when I was back in the house I saw that Ace was in the pool! Huzzah! Hally wasn't. She was just drinking the water of course. I have yet to get Hally in the pool but I will before the end of the summer!

Procrastinating....
I have a book report due on Monday and as you can see I'm procrastinating. I do not want to do it and all I've done so far has caused my brain to fry. So I am taking a break. If anyone's wondering it's on the book, Best Friends Forever. It was good! So if anyone has any opinions I might just need them for my book report!

Oh Wow.
Apple Pie
I speak from the heart when I say that I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this pie!
We had made apple pies in Home Ec and it went so well that I decided I would give it a whirl at home. Big mistake.
It was all going well until the pastry dough. (dramatic music) When I was blending it all up I noticed it wasn't as small of chunks as I would have liked. I thought "Oh well" and just kept trucking. So I peeled all my apples and sliced them. After that I took the pastry dough out of the fridge and started rolling it out. That was a huge problem. Everything that went wrong did! The dough split and tore so many times I had to keep re rolling it out. Eventually, the dough got too much flour in it and wouldn't cooperate at all. So luckily mom was there and assisted me in my time of trouble. I don't know how I did it in Home Ec. They must have magic counters or something.

Somehow, someway it turned out this good.

Hi! I'm back!
Hi everyone! It's been so long since I've blogged. Just to get things straight it wasn't my fault! Our computer was down for about a month! Aaaaah! It was so frusterating! Well, there has been so much going on since last time I checked in. Probably the most important detail is......SUMMER IS HERE! Well not officially or anything but we are getting +30 degree weather. Although the weather is all nice and whatnot it snowed today! That is the latest it has snowed before. Our weather is so crazy! Well it was more like sleet but still. You never really know what to wear each day. In the morning you could be wearing shorts and a tanktop but by the afternoon you're bundled up and ready to play in the snow!

Spring Cleaning...
Today I spring cleaned my room to the music of my Ipod. It's a scary place once you dive deep into the nooks and crannies that haven't been looked at for years. (Dramatic isn't it?) I found my Grade 6 folder that was full of pictures and stories I had written. (If you must know, the pictures were from our halloween party. My head was buried in a cream pie.) I also found a quilt I never finished making. And yes, I liked quilting three years ago. I had to get rid of some of my shoes!!! It was horrible! Goodbye Rocketdog shoes and green runners! (I have an odd taste in shoes....) Adios! Another tradgic moment was that my favorite denim shorts didn't fit me! O well, that all means that it's time to get new ones!!

Very Frusterated!!
You may be wondering why I`m frusterated or you may be looking at the title of this post and thinking that it sounds too frusterating and that you're going to go and eat a bowl of cornflakes instead. So if you`re thinking the first thing than I`ll tell you.
My I-Pod is on the fritz! I can`t live without my music! (sad right...) Anyway, the computer says I have to restore it, which means that I have to erase everything on it!! I must say goodbye to 198 songs, 4 episodes of Corner Gas, 1 episode of Spongebob (Yes, spongebob!), 4 files of pictures, the twilight movie, the Mamma Mia! movie, personalized playlists, Youtube videos, 6 games, a few short films, and various free I-Tunes stuff. This may sound like the end of the world but.....I actually have it all on my computer except for a few songs. So all I would have to do is put it all back on. Except now the restoring isn`t working.....very frusterating!!
