Happy October!

It's October so Happy October everyone!!! October is black cats, witches, the occasional snow, bad luck, the color orange and also National Sarcasm Awareness Month. So my challenge to all of you is to yell 'SARCASM!' if you hear anyone use it. I know half of the people who read this won't but that's why it's called a challenge! ;) And let's make this even more interesting.....so whoever yells out 'SARCASM!' when somebody uses it in a public place and comments their story about it on this post, I'll make a post all about your story! So let's get cracking! October doesn't last all year!

I Love the Weather!

It's officially summer in my mind! I'm sunburnt and it's been 30+ degrees out lately! As long as we don't get any ridiculous snowstorms! I am also working at two camps this year!! SO excited! Summer is gonna be a good one this year! I just know it! I feel it in the heat radiating from my sunburn....

Hoppy Easter!

Hoppy Easter everyone!! (Get it? I'm sure you do.) It's the wonderful holiday filled with bunny chocolates, Peeps and animals trying to become bunnies. Well, I know one thing for certain. Easter didn't come from bunnies and eggs and chocolate. It came from God. He died for us, need we be reminded. He saved us so we could go to heaven! Don't get me wrong, I love the chocolate eggs and bunnies. Personally though, I'm more of the hollow chocolate bunnies person and not bite-into-a-brick-of-chocolate-and-break-your-teeth kind of person. But that's just me! Hope everyone's Easter is filled with fun! (and the plastic stuffing you fill Easter baskets with!)

Alice in Wonderland

I NEED to go see Alice in Wonderland!!!
It looks SO good! I've been trying to convince my friends to go but we haven't set a date.....I mean, who wouldn't want to see a show about a girl getting lost in a rabbit hole. Who does that? 
Johnny Depp is looking his best in years in my opinion. Haha good joke. Still looking spiffy though.

Earthquake in Haiti

This is a long overdue post. As most of us know Haiti has undergone a HUGE earthquake and needs our help. It is an absolute tragedy in saying this but many people are homeless and starving. Anything you or anyone else you know can give, will help. It doesn't matter if it's ten dollars or one hundred dollars, every penny counts. Help the people of Haiti. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Yaaah! I'm finally fifteen! And you know what that means?! Learner's license! Woo! The school buses didn't run today so that's another birthday plus!

New Look!

How do you like the new look of my blog? Pretty spiffy eh? Haha. It took me FOREVER to choose what style to use though. Blue this, Green this, etc. There are so many choices!
This one's called "Florist". You should have seen some of the names. There was one called "Plain Duvet Cover".
I mean how ridiculous can you get? :)

Tomorrow is the day!

WOOO! I'm so excited! Tomorrow is the big day! The moment I get to carry the torch!
Sheridan has donned herself my personal trainer. According to her I have to do 20 push ups every night (if there's one thing to know about me, i do NOT have upper body strength and doing one normal push up is a tough feat for me!), carry a bottle of water in the air every evening (the weight of the torch), and going out to the pasture and chasing cows (to build endurance). Whether the last one is for her own amusement or for real I'll never know. I'm so pumped! Well what do you know? It's 2010! That totally just hit me.

I'm Carrying the Olympic Torch!

This is absolutely ridiculously HUGE news for me! I've known for a long time but I thought I'd let you know about this a week from D-day. hahaha. Anyway, I'm carrying the torch for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games!! I have all my gear and all my information. Sunday is the big day!

I got this awesome opportunity from a place I told you about quite awhile ago. Do you remember Sogo Active? Well that was my ticket to scoring the torch.

Of course, me being Miss Procrastinate I left the offer to actually one week after the deadline so as you may assume I am not buying my torch. (boo on me....) But I get to keep the uniform. (thank goodness!) I've got to say when I signed up for Sogo Active I expected nothing. But here I am now! Wow....am I getting corny or what?

It's funny because when I got my forms it was so precise that it made me laugh. And I quote "You will arrive at the meeting point at precisely 6:36 PM." Hahahahaha. It sounded so professional.

I'm still in shock but still so excited! Is that possible? Being in shock and excited? Oh well.

Cramming for Exams!

Lately I've been sort of addicted to twitter! I have no idea why! It's just saying what you're doing but o well! (Just in case any of you are wondering my username is deedee583...) Anyhow I have an exam coming up on Thursday. I haven't been studying too much due to all the twittering......I know I know.....shame shame shame. Well I suppose I better start cracking or else I would be the crazy person to show up ten minutes late with bedhead because she was up studying all night. I guess I'm wasting time doing this but I thought this was so important I had to share it with you....haha. Well wish me luck!

Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day! Go tell everyone they have a nice hairdo or give your dog a treat or give your dog a hairdo or .......Go spread the kindness and be happy today! It may be a little late to do so but hey! I'll tell my brother congratulations on his test today, my mom that she has a good taste in TV shows (that TV show would be Days of Our Lives by the way. It's a great show!) and dad that he knows just when to say goodnight. (which is around 11:30 PM and is when I actually go to sleep unlike 10:00 when I'm supposed to be asleep on moms standards.) So have a great evening being happy!
